Amanda Banacki Perry is Executive Director of the North American Conference on British Studies. She previously served as associate director of the National History Center of the American Historical Association in Washington, DC. She received her Ph.D. from The Catholic University of America in 2020. Her dissertation, “Diplomatic Society: Gertrude Bell and British Imperial Policy in Iraq, 1917-1926,” examined the social and cultural world of British imperial diplomacy in Interwar Iraq. She is currently working on a book project based on her dissertation research.
